You get a free subdomain for both your platform and website (if enabled, of course), based on the name you choose when setting up your Forento account.
The subdomains are formatted like this:
name.forento.app (for your platform)
name.forento.site (for your website)
You can easily update the 'name' part of your URL anytime in the platform customization settings, found here.
If you're unable to change the domain, it's most likely because the URL you're trying to swap to is already occupied by another Forento platform.
Connecting a custom domain
If you would like to add your own touch to your platform, we recommend connecting a custom domain. By doing this, you'll replace the "forento" part of your URL, making your platform your own.
If you already own a domain name you'd like to connect - you can do so via DNS, here, you can also purchase one from Forento that connects to your platform automatically.
